Germinated 2 Sexbud seeds April 27, 2017 at 47N. Seedlings into greenhouse after two weeks, this was an outdoor grow. Beginning July 28, the plants were outdoors during the day and were brought into a light-tight darkroom at night for 12.5 hours to induce flowering （this light schedule may have sped up the flowering phase from what would have occurred under natural shortening of the day length）.

Both Sexbud plants were topped and LST'd during veg and took well to that. Plant structure: nodes were well spaced and allowed good light and airflow, the branches were strong and flexible and easy to train. Leaf color of both plants was a lighter green （compared to say Purple Maroc or ICE）, and the plants tended to stay squat and bushy after topping.

Pistils were first visible on SB1 around July 24. SB1 was the faster, more robust plant. She got larger and filled in faster and was ready for harvest August 27/28. At harvest her buds smelled deliciously of pineapple.

SB2 was harvested September 1. She took longer than SB1 but in effect caught up. SB2 sprouted from a seed that produced twin plants, of which I culled one after realizing that, if left together, neither twin would reach full potential. SB2 took weeks to get into a strong veg mode, at times looking so frail I almost culled her as well at one point. But she turned it all around and burst out into good growth and made good. SB2 remained smaller than SB1, but she produced high-quality buds that increasingly smelled of grapefruit as harvest neared.

The smell of Sexbud generally （whether grapefruit or pineapple） was generally faint, never so strong that any security concerns arose, even with neighbors fairly close.

Buds on Sexbud are dense, oval-shaped, compact nuggets （not fluffy like Purple Maroc）, and smelled of fruit. The dried bud is not too dry, it retains enough moisture to be a smooth and even smoke, and rolls well when ground.

Effect is an exhilarating head high accompanied by a mild and soothing almost weightless body feeling. Uplifting and energizing, this weed is great for daytime activities. The mind remains alert enjoys being creative, this weed does not impair functioning. (05.07.2018 um 18:13 Uhr)
